Bible Reading: Exodus 16:1-10

Exodus 16:2 (NKJV)

Then the whole congregation of the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness

*🗣️Confession:*

I will not complain. I will continue to follow God, and he will show me his glory in Jesus' name.

*The Message*

In the book of Exodus 16:1-10, after the children of Israel left the wilderness of Elim, where they drank plenty of water and rested for many days, they journeyed to the wilderness of Sin, where there was no food. They were very hungry and started to complain. In fact, they thought about how they used to have plenty of food when they were in the land of slavery: Egypt. (Exodus 16:3)

God allowed the Children of Israel to journey through the wilderness of Sin to teach them how to control their appetites and to prove whether they would obey all his commandments when they were hungry. They failed God (Exodus 16:4). May you not disappoint God because of what you eat, in Jesus' name

In the journey of destiny, if you don't pass through the wilderness of Sin, you may not see the glory of God. (Exodus 16:7) Sometimes in your life, you need to suffer hunger for a while so that you can enjoy the rest of your life.

You don't have what to eat today does not mean you will not have more than enough tomorrow. Don't go back to the world because of what to eat; please continue with God, and he will rain manna from above to you in Jesus' name.

I remember the story of a woman that I met when I was preaching inside the bus some time ago. She used to have sex with different men to feed herself and her only son. I preached to her, and she gave her life to our Lord Jesus Christ. Three days later, she called me and said, "Pastor, imagine, I have slept with another man again because of #1000 to feed my son." I encouraged her in the Lord, supported her financially, and she repented from her sinful ways, and God gave her a job to sustain herself and her son. Glory be to God. May God visit you today and break the yoke of poverty in your life forever in Jesus' name.

The mind of Christ for the reader of this message today is not to go back to the world because of hunger. God, who rained manna from heaven to feed the children of Israel, can do it again. Just focus on God, give attention to his words, think about what to do, and God will bless the works of your hand in Jesus' name.

Don't complain; keep on following God, obey all his commandments, and he will show you his glory, and you will not suffer again in Jesus' name.

1. Father, please have mercy on me in Jesus' name.

2. Father, please give me grace to continue to follow you and serve you in truth and spirit in Jesus' name.

3. Father, please strengthen me and bless me beyond measure in Jesus' name.

4. Father, please perfect everything that concerns me and don't allow me to suffer again in Jesus' name.

5. Father, please show me your glory and break the yoke of poverty in my life forever in Jesus' name.
